The first step to sleeping better
If you’re waking up feeling tired and having headaches, or someone in your life has been complaining about your snoring, it’s time to check if those are indications of Sleep Apnea.
Sleep apnea can be treated and by using the NightOwl® sleep apnea test at home, you’ll learn in detail about your sleep and get personalised, expert advice about how to stop snoring, how to end the morning lethargy, and sleep better in general.
The NightOwl® home sleep test includes

-
An activation code to access the NightOwl companion app
-
A detailed sleep report manually reviewed by a sleep physician and, if you suffer from sleep apnea, a Sleep Coach consult to discuss your results
-

-
The ability to store your sleep and other health results in the SiSU health dashboard
Easy set up to fit your own schedule
You can order the NightOwl® and fit it yourself, no travel required. You can easily start your sleep assessment by yourself on your own schedule, with instructions and support provided by the companion NightOwl app. No need to visit a sleep laboratory or to make special arrangements.
The NightOwl® is a tiny, coin-sized device that you strap to your finger, so it doesn’t get in the way even if you’re a front or back sleeper. The device is fully disposable so there are no contamination risks.
Fast sleep report with accurate results to start acting
The NightOwl is a multi-night evaluation test, which means it will capture the variability of sleep apnea and sleep patterns within 2-3 nights to avoid a misdiagnosis.
Results are emailed to you within 3-5 working days by a certified sleep physician. If your report indicates you suffer from Sleep apnea, you have access to a qualified sleep coach consultation. And you’ll also be eligible for access to our 12-week online Better Sleep program. This is all included in the NightOwl sleep test.
The sleep analysis is performed using the latest peripheral arterial tonometry, actigraphy, and oximetry technology, which measures changes in your blood oxygen level and other important metrics to accurately detect whenever your breathing is interrupted while you sleep.
Preventing sleep apnea's damaging effects on your body and health
When your breathing stops while you’re sleeping (which is called an apnea and happens in sleep apnea and some other sleep disorders), your brain wakes you up briefly so that you start breathing again. This can leave you feeling tired in the morning and drowsy throughout the day, weakens your immune system, can lead to frequent headaches and insomnia.
It also increases your risk of heart disease, elevated blood pressure, insulin resistance, and diabetes, depression, memory loss, liver problems, elevated cholesterol, decreased sexual desire (along with erectile dysfunction in men). Yet studies show one in 10 Australians and 2-8% of New Zealanders suffer from undiagnosed obstructive sleep apnea.
This device is recommended for persons over the age of 18.
