Why do I need to test for 3 nights when using NightOwl Home Sleep Test?
For Accuracy
3 nights of sleep data is typically required for an accurate result. Sometimes 2 nights of data will be enough. The App will notify you when there is enough data for the sleep physician to process your report accurately.
How long do I need to wait for the sleep report results?
Time Required for Review
As your sleep data needs to be reviewed by a qualified sleep physician, your report will be ready 3-5 business days after your final night's sleep data is uploaded. The App will notify you when the test is complete and the data is sent off for review.
While waiting you will be able to take the online SiSU Health Risk Assessment as well as have access to sleep hygiene information.
What does the NightOwl® sensor use to measure from my finger?
The NightOwl Sensor Technology
Leveraging the best of micro-electronics, biomedical signal processing and data science the sensor measures a range of information, including body movement, heart rate and the amount of oxygen in your blood.
Can I use the NightOwl Home Sleep Test on my partner or friend after I'm done?
No
No, the NightOwl Home Sleep Test is single-use only as you can only use the activation code once.
Is the sleep test painful?
No

How do I dispose of the sensor once I'm finished?
Your sensor contains electrical components. Please dispose of the sensor responsibly, following your local regulations.
What’s included in the cost of the NightOwl Home Sleep Test?
The Contents
The NightOwl Home Sleep Test includes a wireless NightOwl® sensor, finger wraps, an app activation code, a sleep report and access to SiSU Health's 12-week Better Sleep Program
If you have severe sleep apnea you also have access to a ResMed Sleep Coach consult. That's a lot of value in one small package.
How do I find my activation code?
You'll find the activation code on the back of the included leaflet next to the barcodes.
Do I have to use the home sleep test on consecutive nights?
We recommend you complete the test over 3 consecutive nights, just in case you forget or misplace the sensor. If you can’t, that’s okay too. Just try and complete the 3 nights as soon as practically possible.
How do I begin using my NightOwl Home Sleep Test?
The first thing you'll need to do once you've received your NightOwl Home Sleep Test in the mail is download the NightOwl® companion app from Google Play or Apple App Store. The app will then guide you every step of the way from setup to sleeping with the test.
Do I need to take my results to a GP to validate my results?
Our certified sleep physicians will analyse your data and email your sleep report. But you're welcome to let your GP take a look at your results too.
I have already been told I have sleep apnea, can I do this sleep test?
Yes you can. It is important to check your sleep regularly. Even if you have had a test before, we recommend testing yearly to see if anything has changed.
What happens after I receive my sleep test report?
Next Steps
If you have opted in and have results that indicate severe sleep apnea you will be referred to Resmed for a free sleep consultation. No matter your results you will receive SiSU Health's 12-week Better Sleep Program as well as an email subscription to an exclusive sleep hygiene newsletter.
Having a better understanding of your sleep quality will empower you to make educated decisions and lifestyle changes.
I haven't received my sleep test report. What do I do?
Firstly, you must allow for the 3-5 business days after the sleep results have been submitted to the Sleep Physician for review.
You will be able to find the results on the SiSU Health Portal using the same sign-in details you used on the NightOwl Companion App. There will be a tile on the home page indicating if your results are pending or ready. Once ready you will be able to download the PDF detailed clinical sleep report.
You will receive an email when the results are ready to be downloaded.
What mobile phones are compatible with the NightOwl companion app used by the NightOwl Home Sleep Test?
You will need a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone with the minimum specs listed below.
iPhone:
Min OS: iO S10
Space needed: 64MB
E.g. iPhone 5 from 2012 can also support iOS 10
Android:
Min OS: Android 7 (Nougat)
Space needed: 48 MB
I failed a test night, what do I do?
The NightOwl companion app will send you a notification if you fail a test night.
That's no good! It might have failed due to a poor Bluetooth connection or bad sensor placement. The app should have sent you a notification telling you why.

- Standard postage for domestic orders can take between 1-5 business days depending on your location
- Shipping time might vary depending on location, shipment method and other factors.
What are your returns and refunds policies?

Your 100% satisfaction is important for us. We offer a 30-days Return & Exchange Policy:
- If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we offer 100% refund.
- Timing: we have a 30-days Return & Exchange Policy, since the day item was received.
- To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- For returns, please email feedback@sisuhealthgroup.com with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return.
- Please note that customers are responsible for shipping costs of returned items.
- When returned item is received and inspected, customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund.
- If the refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.
